Phenomenal staff. Pleasure to work with Dr. Chicvak. Helped me enormously with switching over from the cpap to the oral appliance. Made sure that I understood everything. Made adjustments and gave advice. Just an awesome experience. If you want to go from the mask, hose, discomforts of using the cpap, then consider paying them a visit. It really works. Makes life easier. Sleep great. Feel totally rested. Took a few weeks to get use to but it definitely changed my life. Could not be happier with my results. Owe it all Dr. Chicvak and his staff!! I was seen on an emergency basis for what I thought was major pain from TMJ. Dr. Chicvak and staff were compassionate and professional. I received one one of the most thorough exams I've ever had. Pleasant surprise, Last week Dr. Chicvak after doing a thorough examination with help from my feedback he had me come in the following week for the necessary root canal. During the second visit instead of going right for the procedure he wanted to reconfirm its need. Once again he asked for my responses during the second examination, but this time from my responses he decided to hold off the procedure feeling it wasn't necessary now. However he did ask I come back in a month or call if pain or swelling developed. Thus kudos to Dr. Chicvak for not rushing into the procedure.

I've been going to the same dentist in Manhattan for 25 yrs.. Unfortunately when I get an absessed tooth and called him I found he had retired. It was an emergency .
