What do you need to do?
Call us today (516) 466-1177 to purchase a gift certificate good for a teeth whitening appointment with Dr. Chicvak.  At this appointment, he will review your loved one's teeth, determine the best option and prepare custom trays.  We will also provide easy instructions for in-home use of the system and go over any specific questions they may have.

Please note:  Teeth whitening systems work best on teeth that have been professionally cleaned in the last 6 months.

Unfortunately, teeth whitening products are not appropriate for everyone and not all patients qualify due to specific mouth and health conditions.  We are happy to discuss the options that work best for you.

This product is not a substitute for dental treatment.  Crowns, caps, fillings, dentures, cavities, or bridges will not whiten or change color.

FAQ'S:

What is teeth whitening (also known as bleaching)?
Teeth whitening (or bleaching) is used to correct discoloration of the teeth by removing the brown and yellow staining.

What causes discoloration of the teeth?
Tooth enamel discoloration can be caused by staining, aging, or chemical damage to teeth. Some of the more common causes of teeth discoloration are medications, coffee, tea, cola drinks or cigarettes.

How long does teeth whitening last?
Though not a permanent solution, teeth whitening is very effective with results that can last for years. Depending on your personal habits, touch-up kits can be used every 6–12 months to enhance and maintain whitening results.

What are the advantages of whitening your teeth?
People typically have their teeth whitened to improve their appearance. When people have a brighter smile, they tend to smile more often and their confidence shines through.

What if I have sensitive teeth?
If a patient has sensitive teeth and gums, whitening could exacerbate the situation. We recommend all patients who will have a bleaching treatment use a toothpaste for sensitive teeth [eg: Sensodyne] for two full weeks prior to starting bleaching treatments.

What if I purchased a gift certificate and the  person doesn't qualify for whitening?
If you've purchased a special gift certificate for a loved one and they do not qualify for whitening, we will be happy to put that certificate toward a treatment of their choice.
